Abstracts
Abstracts represent an enormous body of large scale work, averaging 3 ft. x 5 ft.
Recycled paintings are often broken down into small pieces and layered on paper,
creating depth, shadow, and texture that holds a multitude of color.

Exhibition '09
In 2009 an exhibition was presented at Quinn's Sole Repair Shop on Capitol Hill in Seattle. The large industrial space was ideal for showcasing current and past works, including a large collection of new abstracts. Len Meagher captured many great images that day, shown in the slideshow below.
Two Panel Abstracts
Fine Line Abstracts
The tight grids and rich colors of the Fine Line Abstracts collection creates patterns and textures reminiscent of woven fabrics.
Tiled Abstracts
The chunky geometric shapes in the Tiled Abstracts collection were made by incorporating ceramic tiles to create negative space within the layers of paint and strips of recycled paintings. Many of the tiles were used in the construction of Screen Door, which can be viewed in the Multimedia Gallery.
A special thank you to Stacia Leet-Williams for her contribution to the archive.
